Solution:

This project required very careful planning to execute replacement of HVAC systems in an operational pharmaceutical packaging and storage facility. Coordination with the client’s many stakeholders (manufacturing, packaging, facilities, IT, QA/AC, security, clinical packaging, operations, etc) was extensive to ensure that the varied interests were all considered. The project involved 4 major components executed in 11 phases over 14 months and was flawlessly completed without interruption to the client’s operations.

Components of the project included:

– Relocating 5,000 sf of general warehouse space to an adjacent building.

– Convert the vacated space to new class 100,000 cGMP pharmaceutical cold storage warehouse.

– Convert 7,500 sf of nGMP warehouse space to cGMP warehouse space and reconfigure cGMP clinical packaging and support spaces to accommodate new layout.

– Install new emergency generator and renovate equipment storage rooms, office spaces, and packaging rooms.
