CONSTRUCTION PROJECT SCHEDULING
To ensure a successful project, it is important to generate an accurate schedule. The construction project schedule provides a detailed description and representation of how we plan to complete the project. The project schedule is comprised of tasks for each trade partner, with each task assigned a duration. Relationships are identified for each task in order to provide a full sequence of construction and to understand the Critical Path relationships which directly impact the completion date. Having detailed and accurate project schedules has led to Gbuild’s success in completing projects on time.
Gbuild’s project managers and superintendents collaborate with our trade partners and clients to gather all of the critical dates that are depicted in the project schedule. This helps identify long lead items and shows when equipment or material is needed on site to maintain the overall project schedule and ultimately get the job done on time. Project participants viewing the schedule can better understand the plan for completion and coordinate all of the elements of the work. One way the schedule is used by project participants is submittal tracking. Schedules notify our trade partners of submittal ‘submit by’ dates to ensure Gbuild, the architects, and the engineers have the necessary time to review and return the submittals.
With the help of accurate scheduling, Gbuild has a proven track record of timely completion of construction projects. We welcome to opportunity to discuss with you further how we can assist on your next project. Please don’t hesitate to reach out to Doug Gianforte (dgianforte@gbuildcm.com).
