Gbuild COVID-19 Site Safety Action Plan

I.  Common Signs and Symptoms  

If you develop a fever and symptoms of respiratory illness, such as cough or shortness of breath or if you come into close contact with someone showing these symptoms, DO NOT GO TO WORK and call your healthcare provider right away.

II.  General Protocol/Hygiene Practices

• Maintain 6’-10’ distance between you and any other worker

• Wash your hands with soap and water for at least 20 seconds. 

• Avoid touching your eyes, nose, or mouth with unwashed hands.

• Follow appropriate respiratory etiquette, which includes covering for coughs and sneezes.

• Avoid close contact with people who are sick.

III.  Job Site Protective Measures

The Company has instituted the following protective measures at all jobsites.

A. General Safety Policies and Rules

• Any employee/contractor/visitor showing symptoms of COVID-19 will be asked to leave the jobsite and return home.

• All in-person meetings will be limited.

• Gbuild will provide alcohol-based hand sanitizers stations and/or wipes where running water is not available.

• All workers must only use their own tools, equipment, machinery, and vehicles and are  individually responsible for cleaning before and after use with sanitizing wipes.

• Personal tools will not be permitted in shared job boxes.

• It is sole responsibility of each person for their own clean up.

• Employees should use individual water bottles.

• Shared spaces and surfaces will be cleaned and disinfected at least twice per day.

• Use designated access locations into the facilities.

B.  Personal Protective Equipment

• PPE is the responsibility of each worker. Sharing of PPE is prohibited.  

• Gloves:  The type of glove worn should be appropriate to the task.  If gloves are not typically required for the task, then any type of glove is acceptable, including latex gloves.   

• Eye protection:  Eye protection should be worn at all times while on-site. 

• Masks: Workers are required to wear respiratory protection.

• Disposal: Gbuild will provide designated waste containers for the disposal of used PPE.

C. Job Site Visitors/Deliveries

• The number of visitors to the job site will be limited to only those necessary for the work.

• Delivery personnel should remain in their vehicles and deliveries received/brought into buildings by project personnel.
