DCA Governor’s Safety Award
In April, Delaware Contractor’s Association awarded their Governor’s Safety Awards for 2020. It is the DCA’s mission to ensure members have the best support to guarantee their workforce is highly trained in all aspects of workplace safety which, this year, included the addition of educating workers on COVID-19 safety protocols.
In recognition of the importance of safety, the DCA awards members who have demonstrated an exemplary safety record. This year, Gbuild is one of only 6 GC/CM’s in Delaware to be recognized with this award. This marks Gbuild’s 8th consecutive year receiving the DCA Governor’s Safety Award.
At Gbuild, safety is our top priority in everything we do. Part of managing any job site is being responsible for keeping a construction site safe and secure.
Several ways we put safety first include weekly Foreman/Superintendent meetings and Site Orientation forms to ensure all personnel are coordinating their work and aware of any and all safety risks. Additionally, our team is OSHA 30 and ICRA Certified.
We are thrilled be recognized this year by the Delaware Contractor’s Association for our safety record.
