Last week, Gbuild was one of a few select firms recognized with 2022 Delaware Contractor Association’s Governor’s Safety Award. Delaware Contractor’s Association (DCA) President John Everhart and Deputy Secretary Rachel Turney of the Department of Labor handed the award to the Gbuild leadership team.
For 22 years, the DCA, by virtue of the DCA Governor’s Safety Awards, is recognizing the importance of safety in the construction industry, bringing special recognition from the State and the construction community to those companies that have achieved exemplary results in the work place. To qualify, companies must have an incident rate at or below the industry average (as published by the US Bureau of Labor Statistics) for their industry or specialty and an EMR of a 1.0 or less.
Gbuild is honored to be recognized for our relentless commitment to safety and our excellent safety record. This marks the 9th consecutive year that Gbuild has received the Governor’s Safety Award.
