Gbuild Summer Projects Underway at Villanova University
St. Mary’s Restrooms Renovation
- Restroom renovations within St. Mary’s dorms includes 10 restrooms all receiving a complete upgrade with new plumbing, toilet and shower partitions, ceramic tile, flooring, paint, etc. This project has a strict deadline so Gbuild and our trade partners are working hard to get this project completed for student’s arrival back to campus.
Vasey Hall Ground Floor Renovation
- This project will create a new suite for the Office of Veteran & Military Service Members, classrooms, conference room, study room, corridor and toilet rooms. The work involves HVAC and electrical upgrades throughout the ground floor. The space will be completed with all new finishes, lighting, and Hufcor operable partitions.
West Campus Kitchen Renovations
- On Villanova’s West Campus, Gbuild is working to renovate 199 apartment kitchens across 5 different dormitory buildings. Each kitchen is receiving entirely new millwork cabinets, countertops, appliances, lighting, and paint. The kitchens are scheduled to be concurrently competed in just 10 weeks.
Bartley Hall Lecture Hall and Classroom Renovations
- A full renovation to Lecture Hall 1001 will freshen up the space and advance the technology within the classroom similar to the lecture halls the Gbuild has previously renovated within Bartley Hall. Additionally, renovations to multiple Ground Floor and Third Floor Classrooms will provide a much need facelift that includes new flooring, paint, window shades, lighting, ceiling tile, and new glass markerboards. The Third Floor Corridor is receiving new flooring, paint, millwork, and electrical upgrades.
Mendel Hall Greenhouse Renovations
- This project is a renovation to the Department of Biology Greenhouse at the Mendel Science Center. Work includes building envelope replacement of polycarbonate panels, sealants, louvers and irrigation systems. Interior work includes heating and ventilation upgrades, controls, lighting and work areas renovations.
