The schedule required just-in-time delivery of materials for the floor-by-floor sequencing of the schedule to keep the building occupied and operational. Further, replacement of all exterior fenestrations, including curtainwall, aluminum windows and doors, hollow metal doors and frames. Concrete restoration also included and coating of all exterior concrete, power washing all brickwork and replacment of all interior heating/cooling fan coil units and associated faculty office renovations. The job was originally scheduled to be completed over five months, but was compressed to three to accommodate University needs.
This award is presented annually in recognition of those projects which bring distinction, skill and integrity to the construction industry. gBuild’s selected project qualified in the “$5 Million and Under” division.
